A locality in Central Perth & Kinross, Pitkeathly (or occasionally Pitcaithly) lies 1¼ miles (2 km) west of Bridge of Earn. Pitkeathly Wells is a hamlet lying to the north of the 17th C. Drummonie House, which was once known as Pitkeathly House, while Pitkeathly Mains lies to the south. The Pitcaithly Bannock is a traditional round flat rich sweet cake, containing chopped almonds and citrus peel.
