A location in S Central Islay in Argyll and Bute, Torra lies on the B8016 road, 2 miles (3 km) north northeast of Glenegedale. Never a large settlement, today there is just a farm, but on the roadside to the north are the footings of two longhouses, while there is another abandoned property at Torradhu, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the southwest. The Torra River passes to the east.
