A settlement of Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders, Cranshaws lies on the Whiteadder Water, 9 miles (15 km) northwest of Duns. Cranshaws Primary School closed in 2004. Nearby Cranshaws Castle was a stronghold of the Douglas family.
