A location on the north shore of Loch Feochan in Argyll and Bute, Ardentallen (also Ardentallan) is situated a mile (1.5 km) northeast of Kilninver on the opposite side of the loch and 4¼ miles (7 km) south southwest of Oban. To the west of Ardentallen Bay is Ardentallen House and the small settlement of Ardentallen, while a half-mile (1 km) to the southwest is Lower Ardentallen House and Ardentallen Point.
