Burg

Argyll and Bute

A largely deserted settlement located within a district of the same name and located at the head of the Ardmeanach peninsula on the west coast of the Isle of Mull, Burg lies a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Bearraich. 617 ha (1524 acres) of land here were bequeathed to the National Trust for Scotland in 1932 by Mr. A. Campbell Blair of Dolgelly, one of the first properties to come into the care of Trust.
