Craigendoran

Argyll and Bute

An eastern suburb of Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute, Craigendoran developed following the building of a pier which was served by steamers of the North British Railways from 1882. Craigendoran Railway Station remains, although much reduced in size and importance. The pier was abandoned in the 1970s and is now ruinous.
