Gruinart

Argyll and Bute

Gruinart is a scattered location lying to the south and southwest of Loch Gruinart in the NW of the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides. The Gruinart Flats extend from the southern shore of the loch to Loch Gruinart House, which is separated from a ruined cottage along the B8017 road by the Gruinart Belt (of trees). To the west is Aoradh Farm, the office and visitor centre for the Loch Gruinart Nature Reserve, which also includes Gruinart Farm at the end of the Gruinart Plantation to the northwest.
