Argyll and Bute

Located on the western coast of the Knapdale district of Argyll and Bute, Kilmory lies on the course of the Kilmory Burn as it heads towards Kilmory Bay, which lies to the north of the Point of Knap. Dating from the 13th Century, the mediaeval Kilmory Knap Chapel houses fine 8th-16th century stone carvings. Kilmory Castle Gardens, created in the 1770s, are noted for their rhododendrons.
