Pennan Telephone Box made famous in 'Local Hero'

The fishing village of Pennan is located on the northern coast of Aberdeenshire, on Pennan Bay, 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Troup Head. This picturesque village was the setting for Bill Forsyth's film Local Hero which starred amongst others Fulton Mackay and Dennis Lawson, and as such has become a popular tourist stop.
