Hatton of Fintray

(Fintray)
Aberdeenshire

Sometimes just referred to as Fintray, the Aberdeenshire village of Hatton of Fintray lies in Fintray Parish, immediately north of the River Don, 8 miles (12 km) northwest of Aberdeen. Once a textile village, its church dates from 1821 and to the southwest, at Boat of Hatton, a ferry crossed the River Don.
