Murroes


Angus

A small village in an Angus parish of the same name, Murroes lies on the Murroes Burn, 3 miles (5 km) from the centre of Dundee. Murroes Castle, a tower-house dating from the 16th Century is associated with the Fotheringham family on whose vault the parish church was built in 1848.
