A small township on the Isle of Skye, Highland Council Area, Breakish lies 2 miles (3 km) east of Broadford on the road from Kyleakin. The campaigning West Highland Free Press was founded here in 1972. The small airstrip at the northeast of the township provided the backdrop for the film Flash Gordon (1980).
