A crofting township on the NW coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Shader (alternatively Shadar, Gael: Siadar or Siadair lies 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Borve. Immediately to the southeast lies Lower Shader and Upper Shader is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the southwest.
