A hamlet in the Formartine district of Aberdeenshire, Udny Green lies immediately southwest of Pitmedden. Udny Castle is said to date from the 14th Century, and in the kirkyard of Udny Parish Church (1821) is an unusual mort house built in 1832 to a design by Captain John Marr of Cairnbrogie.
