(Achtow, Auchtubh)

A linear former crofting township, Auchtoo (sometimes spelled Achtow or Auchtubh) lies at the head of Strathyre on the glen road leading to Loch Voil in the parish of Balquhidder. The Kingshouse Hotel lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the southeast.
