A location on the south coast of North Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Urgha lies 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Tarbert. The location comprises the small settlements of Urgha and, to the northwest, Urgha Beg (Gael: Urgha Beag). The Urgha River (Gael: Abhainn Urgha) flows through Glen Lingadale (Gael: Gleann Lingeadail) and Urgha Beg before entering Urgha Beg Bay (Gael: Bagh Urgha Beag). Urgha Bay (Gael: Bagh Urgha) forms a smaller inlet to the southeast of Urgha.
