Rhenigidale

(Reinigeadal)
Western Isles

A small settlement on the remote east coast of North Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Rhenigidale (Gael: Reinigeadal) lies at the mouth of Loch Seaforth, 5 miles (8 km) east of Tarbert. A youth hostel was established here in 1962, but it was not until 1990 that a road was built to Rhenigidale. It is also accessible by a spectacular footpath from the southwest.
