A location in S Aberdeenshire, there are farms at West Carmont and East Carmont, 4½ miles (7 km) west southwest of Stonehaven. To the south is Carmont Wood and Carmont Hill. A station opened nearby on the Aberdeen Railway but this closed in 1956.
