Argyll and Bute

A location with a bothy on the northwest coast of Jura in the Inner Hebrides, Glengarrisdale is located 6 miles (10 km) north of Ardlussa. There was a small and isolated settlement here until the late 1940s. The Glengarrisdale River descends from Loch Doire na h-Achlaise through Glen Garrisdale to Glengarrisdale Bay.
