Dumfries and Galloway

A settlement at a crossroads in the South Rhins of Galloway, Clachanmore is located 2½ miles (4 km) south southwest of Sandhead. It principally comprises a white-painted terrace of houses dating from the 19th century. The archaeologically-important Kirkmadrine stones lies in a church a mile (1.5 km) to the north.
