A small township on the southwest shore of East Loch Tarbert on the east coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Drinishader (Gael: Drinisiader) is located a half-mile (1 km) north northwest of Plockropool and 4 miles (6 km) south of Tarbert. It was only well into the 20th century that this settlement was connected by road. Ben Drinishader rises to 86m (282 feet) to the south.
