A location in West Lothian centred a half-mile (1 km) to the west of Dechmont and 2 miles (3 km) north of Livingston, Bangour is associated with the Bangour General Hospital (closed in the 1990s) and Bangour Village Hospital (closed 2004). A farm remains at Easter Bangour.
