(Cnoc nan Gabhar)
Western Isles

A district of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, Goat Hill lies a half-mile (1 km) northeast of the town centre. Goat Hill was once a separate crofting settlement but was cleared in the 1840s. The Lewis Hospital was built here in 1895, providing a service across the Outer Hebrides until its closure in 1992 when replaced by the Western Isles Hospital. Goathill Park provides a football ground for local teams and Goat Hill farm is also located here.
