A small hamlet and estate in Stirling Council Area, Boquhan lies a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Balfron, on the opposite bank of the Endrick Water, and 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Killearn. Lying to the east, Boquhan Old House dates from 1784 and was probably the work of mason-architect David Henderson. There is another Boquhan located 8½ miles (14 km) to the east northeast.
