A picturesque hamlet located at the mouth of the Carradale Water and the west side of Carradale Bay in Argyll and Bute, Waterfoot lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southeast of Bridgend and a mile (1.5 km) southwest of Carradale. Including a number of holiday-homes, Waterfoot has no facilities, although there is an old burial ground located by the roadside on the way into the settlement.
