A location in E-Central Aberdeenshire, Blairs lies on the south bank of the River Dee, 5 miles (8 km) southwest of Aberdeen. It is associated with Blairs College, a Roman Catholic junior seminary established here in 1829 on the estate of John Menzies of Pitfodels. Blairs Chapel (1901) remains in use and the former college is now home to a museum.
