A location in W Edinburgh, Lennie (once Lenny) lies to the south of the River Almond, a quarter-mile (0.4 km) northeast of Turnhouse and half-mile (1 km) west of Cammo. Directly in line with the runway at Edinburgh Airport, the location comprises farms at Nether Lennie and Lennie Mains, with Lennie Cottages and Lennie Park to the southeast. Lennie Hill rises to 79m (259 feet) and Lennie Quarry lies disused on its southwestern flank. Turnhouse Golf Club has its club-house at Lennie Park and extends over much of Lennie Hill. The farm at Lennie Moor and Lennie Moor Bridge over the Gogar Burn lay to the west and have been lost under the airport runways.
