Redkirk

A small agricultural settlement on the north shore of the Solway Firth, Redkirk lies 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Gretna and a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Rigg on land once occupied by the immense Gretna munitions factory. The parishes of Redkirk and Gretna were united in 1609.
