A location and an estate in the Lochs district of E Lewis (Outer Hebrides), Soval (Gael: Sobhal, Sobhail or Shobhail, once Shubaill) lies 2 miles (3 km) north northeast of Laxay and 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Stornoway. The location comprises Soval Lodge and Loch Soval, on the east side of the A859 road, together with the summits of Knock More Soval (132m / 433 feet) and Soval (129m / 423 feet) to the west. There was a Royal Air Force station here 1941-42.
