A location on the right bank of the River Spey in Moray, Blacksboat lies a half-mile (1 km) west of Marypark and 1½ miles (2.5 km) north northeast of Ballindalloch Castle. There was once a ferry cross the river here and Blacksboat Station once lay on the opposite bank on a former railway which is now the route of the Speyside Way.
