A locality in the Angus parish of Auchterhouse, Dronley lies on the Dronley Burn, 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the centre of Dundee. There are settlements at North Dronley and South Dronley and a farm centred at Dronley. C-listed Dronley Mill and the site of the former Dronley Station lie a short distance to the north of Dronley, while the B-listed Dronley House and Dronley Wood lie to the east of North Dronley.
