South Lanarkshire

A small village located within South Lanarkshire Council Area, Walston lies 5 miles (8 km) east of Carnwath, south of the South Medwin River and 3 miles (5 km) northwest of the boundary with the Scottish Borders. Errington Cheese have produced their notable artisan products at Walston Braehead Farm since 1983 using milk from ewes, goats and cows. These cheese have taken their names from nearby places; for example Lanark Blue, Biggar Blue, Dunsyre Blue and Corra Linn.
