A location with a quarry in East Dunbartonshire, Blairskaith is located a mile (1.5 km) north northwest of Balmore and 1½ miles (2.5 km) west northwest of Torrance. There are farms at Wester and Easter Blairskaith, while the Carboniferous Lower Limestone Measures of the disused Blairskaith Quarry are noted for their fossils. The quarry features a number of informal mountain bike trails.
