A crofting township on the east coast of Jura in the Inner Hebrides, Ardfernal lies between Loch na Mile and Lowlandman's Bay, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east of Knockrome. Ardfernal had a population of 128 in 1841. Today, eight buildings remain occupied and the remains of at least four others are obvious.
