A small northwestern district of Cambuslang in South Lanarkshire, Silverbank (sometimes erroneously Silverbanks) lies a half-mile (0.8 km) west northwest of the town centre and 1¼ miles (2 km) east southeast of Rutherglen. A settlement was established here in the 19th C. comprising rows of cottages associated with Silverbank Coal Pit and Wellshot Quarry, now Quarryfield Park.
