A small bay on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne in Argyll and Bute, Port Leathan is located a mile (1.5 km) northwest of Melldalloch and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) southwest of Kilfinan on the Cowal peninsula. There is another Port Leathan located 5 miles (8 km) to the south southeast.
