A small elongated island located on the eastern side of Loch Dunvegan in NW Skye, Mingay (sometimes known as Mingay Island) rises steeply to 32m (105 feet) immediately to the east of the larger Isay, 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Hallistra and 3 miles (5 km) east of Dunvegan Head.
