South Channel

Loch Moidart in the W Highlands is forced to divide around Eilean Shona and Shona Beag creating two channels, of which the South Channel is the more significant. It extends for 3 miles (5 km) from Farquhar's Point to Cean Leac nan Seol, has a maximum depth of 14m (46 feet) and contains a number of islands, of which Riska is the largest.
