Inverness Ice Centre

Inverness Ice Centre is a popular sports facility located in Bught Park 1¼ miles (2 km) south southwest of the town centre. It provides a focus for activities including curling, figure skating and ice hockey for individuals and clubs from Inverness and the East Highlands, with regular coaching and training sessions as well as recreational use by the general public. It was also the venue for a World Wheelchair Curling Competition Qualifier in 2007.

The centre comprises five rinks overlooked by a cafe-bar. It opened in 1967 as a commercial venture but, in 2004, with the support of lottery funds and the local authority, it became the property of a charitable company which draws its directors from Inverness Ice Centre Club.

Inverness Leisure Centre and Aquadome lies opposite.
