Burden Hill

A modest summit located immediately to the north of the M90 motorway, close to Craigend Interchange 1¾ miles (2.75 km) south of Perth, Burden Hill lies on the southeastern slopes of Friarton Hill and rises to approximately 105m (344 feet). The Moncrieffe Railway Tunnel cuts beneath the eastern slopes of the hill, its route evidenced by three airshafts.
