Loch Morar

A long, narrow loch and reservoir of the Lochaber district of Highland Council Area, Loch Morar acts as the barrier between North and South Morar and lies to the northeast of Arisaig and 3 miles (5 km) south of Mallaig. Running in an east west direction, the loch is 11 miles (18 km) in length and is believed to be the deepest in Scotland.
