Kilmannan Reservoir

A reservoir which straddles the boundary between West Dunbartonshire and Stirling Council Areas, Kilmannan is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of Burncrooks Reservoir, 2 miles (3 km) west of Carbeth and 4½ miles (7 km) north of Clydebank. Retained by an earth embankment dam, it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and extends to an area of 41.6 ha (102 acres).
