Loch a' Chaorainn

A loch and reservoir in Knapdale (Argyll and Bute), Loch a' Chaorainn lies 1¼ miles (2 km) south of the head of Loch Caolisport. Retained by a concrete dam, built in 1995 and 8.2m (27 feet) in height, the reservoir extends to an area of 12.3 ha (30.5 acres) and provides water for commercial fish-farming activities.
