St Peter's Pool
(Saint Peters Pool)A shallow sandy bay in the E mainland of Orkney, St. Peter's Pool lies 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Kirkwall. Noted for its wading birds, the bay is separated from Deer Sound to the north by a narrow channel which flows between the Braebuster Ness and the Point of Od.
