Culter Hills

A range of hills on the border between South Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders, the Culter Hills are separated from the Tweedsmuir Hills by the River Tweed. Rising to a height of 748m (2454 feet) at Culter Fell, the hills are the source of the Culter Water which flows northwest from Culter Waterhead Reservoir to join the River Clyde near Symington. The northern boundary of the Culter Hills is formed by the Biggar Water and the Biggar Gap.
