Post Office and Village Store, Symington

A village in Clydesdale, Symington lies in the shadow of Tinto Hill on the northern bank of the upper reaches of the River Clyde, 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Biggar. It developed from the 1860s at a railway junction, the railway eventually closing in 1966. The Culter Hills lie to the south and southeast.
