Parish of Dyke and Moy

Dyke and Moy is a coastal parish, which lies in Moray Council Area, some 3 miles (4 km) west of Forres in Moray and 7 miles (11 km) east of Nairn in Highland.

It is located in the old county of Moray, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 56.7 sq. km (21.8 sq. miles). Dyke and Moy has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Ardclach, Auldearn, Edinkillie and Forres. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
