Dorothy Maclean

Co-founder, with Peter and Eileen Caddy, of the Findhorn Foundation. Maclean was born in Guelph (Canada), and was educated at the University of Western Ontario. She worked for British Intelligence during World War II and met Peter Caddy. She joined the Caddys managing hotels in Scotland and moved with them to a caravan in Findhorn. With her work on Landscape Angels, a form of natural energies, she became an inspiration to the community-based Findhorn Foundation from its formation in 1962. She left Findhorn in 1973 and settled in California (USA) in 1993.
