Kincardine Power Station

Located just to the northwest of Kincardine in Fife, on the shores of the Firth of Forth, Kincardine Power Station was a 375 megawatt coal-fired station. It began operations in 1962, but closed in the late 1990s and was demolished in 2001. Latterly it was run by Scottish Power, a privatised utility which now forms part of a multi-national utility group.
