King Edward is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 5 miles (9 km) northeast of Turriff and 16 miles (25 km) northwest of Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire.
It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.
The parish has an area of 70.9 sq. km (27.4 sq. miles). King Edward has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Aberdour, Alvah, Gamrie, Monquhitter, New Deer and Turriff. The boundaries of this parish were modified among significant changes recommended by the Boundary Commissioners after the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1889.
